Type Locality and Naming

The origin of the name is not established. T.S. Zamaletdinov in 1962 (460, p. 142). V.B. Goryanov, A.I. Goncharov in 1960 identified it under the name "Kshutskaya suite" (176).

Lithology and Thickness

Thin-bedded dolomites, in the lower part, dolomitic limestones are sometimes noted. Rare layers of clayey rocks are encountered. Thickness 370-775m.
